Take a Tour Through the Night Sky Above Lake Tahoe
The starry sky above Lake Tahoe is one of the most memorable summertime experiences for thousands of visitors each year. Northstar® Resort is hosting a series of Tahoe Star Tours with the President of the Nevada Science Coalition to help visitors understand what they see when they look up.Each tour focuses on celestial current events – or what is happening in the sky on the night of the tour – and includes a laser tour of the stars and constellations, a telescopic viewing, a fun space quiz with prizes, and a poem. Star tourists should bring a child’s curiosity and plenty of questions.
Lodging packages are available for each tour and start at $160 per person including two nights in a studio room and one ticket to the night’s Tahoe Star Tour. Price is based on double occupancy. All lodging guests receive complimentary access to the Recreation Center with a full fitness center, outdoor pools and spas, tennis center, children’s game room, adult quiet area, aquatic exercise classes, and organized children’s activities. To book a lodging package, please call 1-800-GO-NORTH.
