Being a good neighbor and part of the community has always been a top priority at Mikuni.
As part of our community-focused philosophy, we formed the Mikuni Charitable Foundation which sponsors the Mikuni Summer Golf Classic. For the past fifteen years, the Mikuni Summer Classic has raised funds for a variety of charitable organizations. Over the past ten years, Mikuni has donated over $750,000 to Sutter Cancer Center’s Breast Cancer Navigator Program.
In addition, we have extended a broad reach into the community, giving more than $375,000 (2004 – 2010) in gift cards and in-kind contributions to a diversity of schools, churches, and charitable organizations. Mikuni has supported locally based charities including the Cal Expo Scholarship Foundation, March of Dimes, Make-A-Wish Foundation and the UC Davis Children’s Hospital, as well as, Serotonin Surge Charities, WEAVE, Sacramento Food Bank, Davis Phinney Foundation and Closing the Gap Educational Achievement at their signature fundraising events.
